Finish Strong Scholarship

NUC Florida Technical College is proud to offer the Finish Strong Scholarship to eligible students who previously withdrew and are ready to re-enroll in the same program. This scholarship is designed to help students complete their program and achieve their career goals.

Eligible students may receive the following maximum scholarship amount:

• NUC FTC Program – $3,500

The deadline to apply is October 20, 2025

Scholarship amounts may be prorated if the student is re-enrolling during the same payment period. Students may receive only one (1) Finish Strong Scholarship per program of study.

Eligibility

To qualify for the Finish Strong Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Previously withdrawn from the program within the last 180 days and maintained satisfactory academic progress.
  • Re-enrolling in the same program from which the student was withdrawn.
  • Beginning the program at NUC-FTC with a start date of October 20, 2025.
  • Remaining continuously enrolled in the program until completion.
  • Maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
  • Being current on all financial obligations to Florida Technical College.

Scholarship Qualification Procedure

NUC-FTC will evaluate scholarship eligibility at the end of the program to ensure students continue to meet all criteria. Qualified students will have the Finish Strong Scholarship applied toward completion of their program. Any remaining balance will first be applied to any outstanding student balance before issuing a stipend.

Applications Procedure and Deadline

Applications for the Finish Strong Scholarship are available at the Financial Aid Department. Completed applications must be submitted prior to the start of the program. Awards will be granted based on the order of application and meeting all qualifying criteria.

For award year 2024-25, the institution has allocated a total budget of $120,000 for this scholarship.
