Orlando, FL – NUC University Florida Technical College (NUC FTC) is proud to announce Nemours Children’s Health as the recipient of its 2024 Allied Health Partner of the Year Award. This recognition, now in its fourth consecutive year, honors outstanding organizations whose collaboration and commitment significantly enhance the educational experience and career readiness of students in allied health programs.

Together, we have seen the successful integration of numerous skilled medical assistant externs into our team at Nemours Children’s Health,” said Martha McGill, MBA, MHA, President of the Central Florida Region for Nemours Children’s Health. “This award reflects our commitment to fostering a robust pipeline of pediatric-focused healthcare professionals from our community to make a long-term difference here at home and beyond.”
The award was presented by Dr. James Michael Burkett, President of NUC University Florida Technical College, and MaryAnn Sewell, NUC FTC Vice President of Strategic Business Development & Career Services, during a special recognition in Orlando.
