The Veterinary Assistant with Pet Grooming program will prepare students with the necessary knowledge of animal physiology and care, as well as disease prevention and animal health management. Additionally, they will be able to employ skills as pet groomers to provide grooming and conditioning services for pets in different settings, as established at the basic level of their profession. Graduates of this program will be able to apply basic techniques to assist with veterinary surgical nursing, radiology, sonography, dental procedures, and laboratory procedures.
