Tickets are not required for your guests to attend, however we do ask that you RSVP and show up with a HUGE smile and ready to walk across that stage.
Dear Graduates,
I would like to proudly announce that NUC University – Florida Technical College & DAVE School’s upcoming commencement ceremony will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 in Orlando, Florida. This event marks the culmination of your hard work, personal sacrifice, and dedication.
Of course no one ever achieved any significant goal by themselves. This is your opportunity to celebrate your accomplishment with family and friends in the incredible venue of the Amway Center.
Graduates will receive an email with details of the event. Whether you are attending the commencement ceremony or not, we request you to RSVP at https://www.ftccollege.edu/graduation by August 3, 2025. Through this website, you can obtain additional information, order cap and gowns, and be added to the list to receive information about this amazing event!

Order your Graduation Cap and Gown
Order Now
The cap, gown and tassel combination set is $26.45 (before taxes, shipping and handling) for Diploma Graduates and $43.70 for Bachelors Graduates (cost is before tax and shipping). Purchasing a black cap and gown is not required if you already own one. You may also purchase one from a different source if you choose, as long as it is black (matte). If you decide to use a different cap and gown, you can order just the tassel separately from Jostens’ website. To order go to “See My School” section.
The last day to order is August 3, 2025.
Graduates are welcomed (and encouraged) to decorate their caps. This is your special day!

Honors, Veteran, Employed Grad and Student Organization Recognition Items
Special recognition items will be available to pick up on the ceremony day.
Diplomas
Graduates between June 22, 2023 to July 24, 2025:
All students should have received their diploma 6-8 weeks after they graduated in the system and completed their last class. If you have not received your digital or printed diploma, please complete the Diploma Request form.
Graduates between November 2021 to May 25, 2023:
If you have not received your diploma, please complete the Request for Diploma form. The digital diploma will be issued within 6–8 weeks after the ceremony, and your printed diploma will arrive approximately 45 days later. Request for Diploma Form.
*Diplomas will not be distributed during the Commencement Ceremony.

Students who have fulfilled the graduation requirements for any of the Institution’s programs are eligible to participate in this ceremony.
If you graduated between June 22, 2023, and July 24, 2025, and did not receive an official RSVP invitation, please use the link below to RSVP. We will reach out if there are any issues with your submission.

Time of Ceremony: 6:00 pm (Doors will open at 5 pm for guests)
Guest Limits: Feel free to invite guests to celebrate with you. Please indicate the number of attendees when completing your RSVP form.
Tickets: Tickets are not required to enter the arena.
Seating: Seating for guests is on a first come, first served basis.
Graduate Arrival: Graduates must arrive at the KIA Center beginning at 2:00 pm but no later than 5:00 pm on the day of the ceremony.
KIA Center Guidelines
The KIA Center is a state-of-the-art facility that has been designed with your comfort and safety in mind. As you make your way to the arena, please note that all attendees are required to undergo a security screening process, which includes metal detectors and bag checks.
Prohibited Items:
For safety, the following are not allowed:
- Bags (including backpacks, coolers)
- Bottles, cans, outside food/drinks
- Cameras with detachable/long lenses, tripods, selfie sticks, Go-Pros
- Drones, fireworks, laser pointers, noisemakers (except Solar Bears cowbells)
- Skates, skateboards, recreation gear, strollers, souvenir cups
- Laptops, flashlights, thermos containers
- Illegal drugs, pets (except service animals), wrapped gifts
- Large/derogatory signs, signs on sticks
- Unauthorized sales or promotions
- Weapons are typically not allowed by private event promoters
A more detailed list of prohibited items can be found here. We encourage you to leave these items in your vehicle or, preferably, at home.
Kia Center Parking & Transportation
Kia Center offers reserved and pre-paid parking at the GEICO Garage (400 W. South St.) and the 520 W. Pine St. Garage, both within walking distance of the arena. Pre-paid parking must be purchased by 5 p.m.
Accessible parking is available in the GEICO Garage with elevator access on every floor and a pedestrian bridge on the 5th floor. The 1st and 5th floors are subject to availability.
VIP parking is located in the Blue Lot, accessible via Division Avenue between Church Street and Central Avenue.
Additional parking options are available throughout downtown Orlando on a first-come, first-served basis, with rates ranging from $10–$20.
Public transportation options include SunRail, LYMMO, and rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft.
Dress
There is no official commencement dress code, other than ensuring all graduates have their black caps and gown; however, there are some tips and items to avoid for the day.
Dress comfortably. Graduates will be asked to check at least 3 hours before the ceremony, so there will be long periods of sitting and standing throughout the evening. Most importantly, wear comfortable shoes, avoid wearing new shoes, and consider a low heel if you are planning on wearing heels.
- Be photo ready and ensure you have light and comfortable clothing to wear under your regalia.
- Do not bring bags and check the KIA Center.
